Drawing America by Bike is an ongoing multimedia project focusing on storytelling and bicycle travel. The project started as a 12,000 mile solo bicycle journey around America by the artist. Living off of his wits, available resources and only drawings, the project aimed to capture a portrait of the recession through the eyes of a cycling nomad. There is a full length graphic novel based on eric c’s experiences coming soon. The blog also features cycling/art related links and projects.

The project is expanding. It is recruiting artists, musicians, bikers, or anyone that can make themselves useful for Drawing America by Bike’s Summer 2012 Bicycle Cavalry. We’ll be touring between New England, the Mississippi River and the north part of the South.
